I am certified as a Course Director through PADI (the Professional Association of Diving Instructors), the world's largest diver training agency. As a Course Director I hold the highest instructional certification issued by PADI. Less than 1% of instructors worldwide are offered this certification level. This certification means that I teach not only the entry-level courses, but the entire PADI selection of advanced and professional levels for recreational divers.

I also teach people who want to be instructors and conduct continuing education courses for instructors.

I teach 21 specialties in addition to the basic scuba courses and I also am an Instructor Trainer for these specialties as well as for Emergency First Response, a standard 8-hour First Aid-CPR course and the EFR "Care or Children" program.

I have been involved in scuba instruction for over 28 years. I have a career dive total of 2400+* dives throughout the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean, in a wide variety of diving environments. My training activities are supported by highly trained PADI Divemasters and Assistant Instructors, Instructors and IDC Staff Instructors. Each member of my staff is a highly trained dive professional who enjoys diving as a sport and enjoys helping other people become divers.

I am dedicated to the PADI System of Diver Education because their system of learning is fun and flexible to your needs, their materials are designed using the latest educational and computer-based techniques. The courses are regularly updated to incorporate newer diving techniques and are specifically aimed at making it fun, convenient and easy for everyone to become a safe, comfortable diver. I have made a major personal commitment to providing the best personalized scuba training in the Pacific Northwest.

I regularly participate in continuing education courses through PADI International in order to provide you with the latest instructional techniques for learning scuba in your own time.

You are always welcome to attend a class session, prior to signing up for a class, if you would like to get a feel for the style of instruction you will be getting and have the opportunity to discuss your particular needs.
